Hans van der Burght graduated in 1985 at the Utrecht University in Economic Geography. After a career in the software industry and he was responsible for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure for the judicial organization in the Netherlands.
Mr. van der Burght participated in the STORK2.0 consortium since the start of the project as co-chair and project leader of the Dutch pilot. He elaborated the cross border farmer’s pilot, one of the success stories of STORK. He was also one of the promotors of the development of the eIDAS – PEPS adapters in the eSENS program, a co-production of IS, SE, DE, AT, NL, DIGIT and other eSENS partners. This adapter will ensure a smooth migration of STORK enabled services to an eIDAS environment.
Within the running program for the implementation of eIDAS in the Netherlands he is responsible for the migration of the STORK / PEPS infrastructure to the eIDASnode and the development of an interface between the eIDAS and the Dutch eID schemes.

He is a specialised payment and authentication professional, acting in various roles, varying from project manager to scheme architect. Allard has over 15 years’ experience in technology and business change management, in the payments industry, usually involving change across multiple enterprises.
After a career at PostNL, Equens, Atos and Friesland Bank Allard joined the Dutch Payment Association. This was during its transformation towards an innovating collaboration platform, where banks and payment service providers cooperate to remove barriers in online commerce. In 2012, Allard was project manager for the emandates solution and starting in 2014 he started the BankID (now iDIN) project with the five larger banks. Allard is currently scheme architect and as such involved in the pilot with insurance companies, governmental institutions and ecommerce. He is also involved in the further development of the solution such as the integration of iDIN with the payment solution iDEAL.
Allard graduated from University Utrecht with a degree in environmental biology, and is still working with ecosystems.
